“When Catherine and I married, India was the first place on Catherine’s list that she told me that she wanted to visit,” Prince William told a large audience during a Bollywood themed gala in India yesterday. “Two children and five years later, we have finally made it.” The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were there supporting three children’s charities (Magic Bus, Childline, and Doorstep) as they travel on a week-long tour of India and Bhutan, including Mumbai, Delhi, Assam, Bhutan and Agra.

As usual, though, the charming royal couple did more than just show up. They brought their A-game. William and Kate are fully immersing themselves in the local culture: joyfully playing cricket on the grounds of the Oval Maidan to somberly paying tribute to those who died at the Taj Palace Hotel Memorial. At every event, Kate, who is taking a break from her typical British skirt suits with matching hats (not to mention her favorite blue coat), has been wowing the world in her gorgeous India-infused ensembles.

Hitting it out of the park: That same day, Kate played cricket at Mumbai’s iconic recreation ground, the Oval Maidan, in a breezy, colorful dress made by Mumbai-born designer Anita Dongre and nude wedges. She was there to meet children from three non-governmental organizations that help kids in India.

Vision in white: On April 11th, Kate dons a Emilia Wickstead dress (now sold out even at a price tag of $2,483) with nude pumps and a smile after laying a wreath at the India Gate Memorial, in Delhi, India. Though a strong wind caused her dress to billow, creating a Marilyn Monroe-like effect during the ceremony, the Duchess handled the moment gracefully.
