3 celebrity husbands who support their wives in adorable and public ways (PHOTOS)

Behind every successful Hollywood marriage is support. And these hunky men give it in spades … and in interviews and Insta posts.

There are certain Hollywood couples that make marriage look easy. (Yes, we’re talking about you Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso.) And then there are other couples who make marriage look fun and glamorous. (Oh, to be Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.) But our favorite celebrity marriages often combine those two traits with a third: they openly adore one another and support each others’ life choices and careers. And today, we’re giving credit to the three husbands who seem to give an endless stream of that encouragement and love to their (totally deserving) wives.

John Krasinski

When Krasinski tells the story of first meeting wife Emily Blunt, your heart can’t do anything but melt: “It was one of those things where I wasn’t really looking for a relationship and I was thinking I’m going to take my time in L.A. Then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, ‘Oh god, I think I’m going to fall in love with her.’ As I shook her hand I went, ‘I like you.’” Since then, he’s been incredibly vocal about how much he loves her.

Both of these successful actors make the time to support each other in their different career efforts. And, while Emily Blunt doesn’t partake in Instagram personally, he’s pretty proud of that fact on his social media channels.

Though, it would seem Krasinski is pretty much a proud husband all the time. While sitting in the audience at a Saturday Night Live performance that Emily Blunt hosted, he couldn’t stop tweeting and posting photos to Instagram to document her success:

And when we say proud, we mean really, really proud. Krasinksi may have been cheering louder than anyone:

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!! So proud of her!!! #SNL

Hugh Jackman

There are few actors that have as much talent as Hugh Jackman does in his left pinky: He sings! He dances! He acts! He smolders! And to top it all off? He’s a devoted husband who lets the world know he loves his old lady, Deborra-Lee Furness. (Who, in fact, is 13 years older than he is.) In a Hollywood Reporter article, Jackman told a story of love at first sight: “She was very beautiful. She was unbelievably fun—this energy, this spirit—irrepressible. And she had a confidence in herself. I had a massive crush on her instantly … She was sort of the opposite of me. I was very ‘Even Steven,’ and she was thrilling to me. I was always really attracted to that—though at one point, as it was getting really serious, it terrified me.”

But he seems to have gotten over his fears through the years. Because whenever Jackman has a moment off from his career on the big-screen, he turns his attentions to his wife and celebrates their love on your small screen via Instagram. Here’s a recent (if a little fuzzy) photo of the couple donning matching black and cowboy hats. The caption, of course, is the best part.

Happy birthday @deborralee ! I love you with all my heart.

And here he is supporting her work.

You know what else is nice? When your husband not only supports your career, but tells the world he thinks your “smokin hot.” We think you’re not too bad yourself, Hugh. Inside and out.

My wife - smokin' hot in every photo. And then - there's me

… and he’s been on that team for 20 years. (Side note: Jackman’s spectacles in this photo make us love him just a little bit more. We didn’t think it was possible.)

Ashton Kutcher

When Ashton and Mila got married in 2015, it just felt right. And, wow, when we see them together on red carpets and Instagram, it just looks right, too. Check out this recent Thanksgiving post:

Happy Thanksgiving lovers! I'm so thankful for all of you ❤️ #happythankgiving #cuddle #Love #Happy

But what we love most about Ashton as a husband and dad is how totally normal he seems to be. Whether he’s goofing off with Mila, escorting her to red carpets, holding hands, or talking about her on late night shows, it always comes across as no big deal. Just regular old husband and wife awesomeness. Look at that casual, comfortable, and totally sweet behind-the-back holding of hands. (Often, the couple doesn’t even post words with their photos. But, to be fair, the images speak for themselves.)

And the dad continually appears on talkshows where he proceeds to gush about Mila’s amazing mothering: ““She’s the greatest mom,” the The Ranch star told the audience. “I go to work every day, and I come home and she’s perfect. And it just seems like everything went amazing. And I know that something probably didn’t go amazing, but she never tells … it’s unbelievable. She’s incredible.”

And in addition to supporting each other, they both support the good ol’ USA. You know what they say: Great country, great wife, great life.

Arm chair Olympians. Go team USA!!! We got your back! Ty for the blazers @ralphlauren #liketolight
